Witnesses report seeing 5 men open fire on San Antonio home

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Nobody was hurt when a group of people opened fire on a home on San Antonio’s Northwest side.

FOX 29 reports it was around 2:30 A.M. Tuesday when the group stood outside a home on Waverly Avenue and started shooting.

They say more than 50 shell casings were found on the ground and that the home was hit more than 30 times.

Inside the home, three women and one child. None of them were hurt as the bullets ripped through the walls and shattered windows.

Witnesses tell police they saw five men shoot up the house before running down the street to where they parked a car. The shooters haven’t been located.

Officers are asking nearby residents for any surveillance video caught on home security cameras.

A description of the car the shooters sped away in was not provided.
