SAPD: Walmart evacuated over ‘potential threats’

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Things are back to normal at a Walmart location on the Southwest Side Monday morning, but only after the building was evacuated and shutdown.

KENS-5 reports it took about two hours for police to let people back in after they say an employee got on the in-store radio frequency and said there was a bomb inside and that it was going to explode.

The investigation continues and there is no word on any arrests.

No injuries were reported.
