Schertz holding community-wide car seat check this weekend

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Schertz Police and city officials are teaming up with the Cibolo Police, Selma Police and Universal City Fire departments on Saturday to have a community car seat check to celebrate National Child Passenger Safety Week.

The event will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  at the Schertz Community Center parking lot at 1400 Schertz Parkway.

The event will be free to all local residents in the area and no appointments are required.
